PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal device capable of keeping airtight between the outer peripheral side of a connecting member passing through a body case and the body case of a low cost. SOLUTION: In the garbage disposal device installed under a sink 2, a drain connecting member 4 provided in a drain opening 3 of the sink 2, a passage member 13 with a drain channel 12 and a chute 10 formed on an inner cylinder, the passage member 13 to the drain connecting member 4 formed airtightly, and the body case 17, with an opening part 17a formed on the top face, storing a garbage degrading tank 8, are provided. The connecting member 6 is formed of an elastic material and an annular fitting pat 6a is formed on the outer peripheral side of the connecting member 6 with the opening part 17a of the body case 17, with the connecting member 6 fitted into the fitting part 6a.
