PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drying performances by achieving drying without remarkable crumpling free from possible incomplete drying or uneven drying when matters to be dried are big and bulky in a washing/drying machine designed to sequentially control a series of processes of washing, rinsing, dewatering and drying. SOLUTION: A scanning tub 4 having a rotating center shaft vertically is rotatably supported in an outer tank 3 elastically hoisted within a box body 1 and a rotary blade 31 is rotatably installed on the inner bottom part of the tub 4. The inner tub 4 or the rotary blade 31 is driven with a motor 10, hot air is sent into the tub 4 with a blower 14 for drying and a heater 15 and circulated through a hot air circulation path 18 having a heat exchanger 12 and a series of processes of washing, rinsing, dewatering and drying are sequentially controlled with a controller 28. The rotary blade 31 has a protruded part 33 for agitation, which 33 is so arranged as to vary in height depending on the internal temperature of the tub 4.
