<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism light measuring instrument capable of automatically eliminating noise component from measurement result, immediately obtaining measurement result with high reliability, and displaying the same. SOLUTION: In this organism light measuring instrument, light is applied to a subject, light transmitted through the subject is detected, and the obtained light signal is processed to display an organism change in a designated region of the subject. From the light signals obtained along the axis of time, the light signals in a section of a designated time length are extracted to create a plurality of section data. The extracted section data are added and averaged to create section data of the designated time length. Prior to the add and average processing, a signal containing noise component is specified from the differential value of the signal, and the section data containing the signal containing the noise component is excluded form the add and average processing.</p> |
