PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for fixing a reel leg capable of maintaining excellent decorative effects and improving the degree of freedom for design. SOLUTION: This apparatus for fixing the reel leg 2 is provided with a part 24 for carrying the reel leg 2 capable of carrying the reel leg 2 of a reel for fishing and fixing the reel leg 2 with a pair of hoods 14 and 26 and a platy decorative member 44 having dimensions of a greater width than that of the reel leg 2 to be carried and a narrower width than the body part forming the part for carrying the reel leg 2 and a brilliant appearance. The decorative member 44 has respective lateral edges protruding from the reel leg 2 to the lateral sides when the reel leg 2 is carried on the part 24 for carrying the reel leg 2. The lateral edges have a cross-sectional shape thereof with a height dimension protruding outward from lateral parts 38 of the body part 12 adjacent to the lateral edges by >=2 mm.
