PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined septic tank which may be an existing single septic tank or the slightly modified one and is highly durable to the external environment. SOLUTION: In a combined septic tank wherein the water to be treated freely flows from a first casing X1 being an individual septic tank containing an aerating chamber 3 to a second casing X2 containing a membrane separation tank E2, a wastewater pipe H2 through which miscellaneous domestic wastewater flows is connected to the second casing X2, and a flow rate controlling tank E1 that controls the flow rate by holding the water to be treated is provided upstream of the membrane separation tank E2.
