PURPOSE: A method of controlling turning safety in a traction control system of a vehicle is provided to improve turning safety by preventing lateral slip in turning the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A method of controlling turning safety in a traction control system of a vehicle comprises steps of calculating lateral acceleration of a driving unit and lateral acceleration of a vehicle body from each wheel speed; setting up a stable reference point in turning from the difference between the lateral acceleration of the driving unit and the lateral acceleration of the vehicle body; and controlling opening degree of a throttle valve. Thus, turning safety of the vehicle is controlled, using the lateral acceleration difference between the driving unit and the vehicle body.
