PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve works to attach and remove a shell containing a seat part and a backrest formed integrally to and from a leg frame, and to support the seat part stably. SOLUTION: A chair is formed by attaching the shell 3 made of a synthetic resin and containing the backrest part 10 and the seat part 11 formed integrally to the leg frame 2. A tubular part 10a provided at both sides of the backrest 10 is joined to a connecting part 6b provided at both sides of a rear part of the leg frame 2 and facing upward, and the seat part 11 is placed on connecting rods 7, 8 connecting right and left, upper rods 6c on the leg frame 2. A catching part 20 provided on the underside of the seat part 11 is joined to the connecting rods 7, 8.
