PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the cleaning of a detergent dissolving chamber in a high concentration detergent generation means. SOLUTION: In a washing machine which is provided with a detergent dissolving container 21 having a detergent agitation blade 50 on the bottom part thereof, a drive means for driving a detergent agitation blade, a water supply means for supplying water to the detergent dissolving container and an overflow part 21h at an upper part of a storage part, a control means is provided to execute or control a cleaning process in which water is supplied to the detergent dissolving container by the water supply means to clean the inside of the detergent dissolving container.
