PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum valve for which reduction of the number of manufacturing processes and simplification of works can be achieved, and cut-off /disconnecting function can be executed smoothly by abbreviating a movable conductor in a vacuum container, and to provide a power switchgear using the same. SOLUTION: This vacuum valve comprises a first fixed electrode 23 joined to the extended end of a fixed side conducting shaft 4a to the inside of the vacuum container 20, a first movable electrode 24 arranged facing to the first fixed electrode 23, a first contact which is closed when the first movable electrode 24 abuts on the first fixed electrode 23, a movable side conducting shaft 4b which is arranged movably in the axis direction in the vacuum container 20 and to one end of which the first movable electrode 24 is joined, a second movable electrode 25 which is joined to the movable side conducting shaft 4b and moves in conjunction with the first movable electrode 24, a second fixed electrode 26 which is isolated and air-tightly supported by the side face of the vacuum container 20 facing to the second movable electrode 25, and a second contact which is closed when the second movable electrode 25 abuts on the second fixed electrode 26.
