FIELD: railway transport; maintenance and repair of rail tracks. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring position of rail tracks. Proposed gauge has rod 1, handle 6 with tie-rode carrier 20, fixed end piece 2, movable end piece 3 connected with tie-rod carrier 20, rail level measuring device 13 with level and dial 9 with level scale, track gauge width meter, device for measuring distance between working faces of core and guard rail, device for measuring distance between working faces of wing rail and guard rail with scale 8, 22, 24 on horizontal surface of rod 1 between handle 6 and movable end piece 3, and device for measuring ordinates of transition curves and width of chutes, including end piece secured on carriage 27 with scale. Gauge has also device 29 for measuring side wear of rails with end piece 26 re-placeable for using flat face when taking measurements relative to reference line applied to horizontal surface of rod.
