PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system that narrows down the information of a managed device noticed by a maintenance person and displays the resulting information on a terminal so as to reduce and clarify the system processing. SOLUTION: The network management system comprises: a plurality of terminals 1000 each having an operation object device selection means 1011 for selecting a device to be managed being a control object, and an operation menu selection means 1012 for selecting and designating a monitor object job of the device to be managed; a plurality of management devices 3000 having an operation menu storage means 3001 for storing a designated operation menu and informing of monitor object information described in the operation menu; and a management device 2000 having a maintenance person utilization status management table 2011 for storing managed device information being control objects from a plurality of the terminals and supervisory object jobs, and informing the object device to be managed about the operation menu and informing each terminal about report information from the device to be managed on the basis of a maintenance person utilizing state management table.
