PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head unit, an optical pickup unit provided with the same, and a recording/reproducing device such that the cooling of a magnetic head is carried out effectively. SOLUTION: The magnetic head unit has a magnetic core 13 and a coil 11 wound around the magnetic core 13, and a magnetic head 14 which records while carrying out the contact sliding to a magneto-optical disk is supported so as to be in the pressurized state by a suspension 16 to a magneto-optical disk. A metal slider part 16a is provided in the magnetic head 14 to carry out the contact sliding to the magneto-optical disk. The metal slider part 16a is connected to a suspension 16. The metal slider part 16a and the suspension 16 are formed by using one member with thermal conductivity.
