The bead cutter improves the productivity and quality of welded pipes by adjusting the bite height accurately and easily. The bead cutter comprises (A) a body(1) with an exchangable container(2) equipped with a roll (7) and a shank (3) with screws (6) on the back-side;(B) a shank clamping holder (5) with screw grooves(53) formed on the backside of the container.
