PURPOSE: A device for automatically converting bell and vibration modes of a mobile phone is provided to automatically detect whether the mobile phone is carried with one, so as to automatically convert an incoming mode to the bell mode or the vibration mode. Also, the device is provided to automatically detect whether the mobile phone is being charged or whether the mobile phone is neglected for a long time, so as to automatically convert a mode to the bell mode unconditionally. CONSTITUTION: Hemisphere electric conductors(50,60) are faced with each other on an insulator(20) to have a hollow sphere form, and have two conical electric conductive grooves at internal sides to be faced with each other on a straight line perpendicularly to a vertical center line of a mobile phone. The internal spherical sides of the hemisphere electric conductors(50,60) are coated with insulating films. An electric conductive ball(70) maintains the hemisphere electric conductors(50,60) to be an electric interrupted state when located in the insulating films, and converts the hemisphere electric conductors(50,60) to an electric conductive state when located in the conical electric conductive grooves. And a controller detects a short circuit state and vibration of the hemisphere electric conductors(50,60) according to the location of the electric conductive ball(70) to detect an attitude of the mobile phone, and converts an incoming mode of the mobile phone to a vibration mode or a bell mode.
