PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, such as a portable telephone or the like which can be used over a long period, without power charge, by suppressing power consumption. SOLUTION: A power source 108 supplies itself with power by storage battery. A power controller 107 measures and monitors the remaining quantity of power charged in the storage battery. A memory 106 stores a management table 110, where the propriety of the start of an application to the remaining quantity of the power is registered separately by each application. If these is an application start command from a user in a application start controller 109, a controller 102 acquires the remaining quantity of power from the power controller 107 and obtains propriety of the start of the application, referring to the management table 110, and when the start is enabled, it starts the application, but when the start is disabled, it will not start the application. |
