SOLUTION: In the disk cartridge furnished with a disk-like recording medium 2 on which the information is optically recordable or reproducible and a cartridge case 1 housing the disk-like recording medium 2 therein, wear resistance coating films 6 are formed on the inside surface of the cartridge case 1 confronted with the disk-like recording medium 2, or (and) on the outside surface of the cartridge case 1.
