<p>The invention concerns a method and a device for inputting data, as well as a system for the optical detection of the position of an object or member, capable of being used (respectively incorporated) in said method (respectively device). The technical field of the invention is the manufacture of keyboards and like devices for manual input of data to be processed by a digital computer. The inventive method for determining the position of an object in a zone (30), comprises the following steps: structuring a neural network through learning; applying to the structured neural network input (16) data resulting from conversion of signals delivered by a plurality of detectors (1, P1, , P6) sensitive to illumination of said zone; and determining the position of the object in said zone on the basis of at least one data delivered in output of the structured neural network.</p> |
