PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of polyester contractive multi-filament which is characterized by having an ingredient dissolved in alkali well and excellent physical properties of grey yarn, and lengthening a swapping period of a spinning filter. CONSTITUTION: The polyester contractive multi-filament is comprised of a polyester ingredient dissolved in alkali and a polyester ingredient undissolved in alkali. The polyester ingredient dissolved in alkali is obtained by adding 2.5-5.0mol% of dimethyl isosulfonate sodium salt(DMIS) and 10-16pts.wt. of polyalkylene glycol(PAG) to terephthalic acid or ester derivative thereof.
