The plant cultivation house has a film skin (30) forming the roof which is supported below a frame (20) in all positions and is suspended from it. The roof film can be moved laterally of the frame between extended and retracted positions. The roof skin can have weighted rods (32) to control its folding. The rods are lowered as the skin is retracted.
