NOVEL HUMAN TOPOISOMERASE 2αINHIBITORY PROTEIN AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

It is intended to provide novel drugs based on the physiological function of ITII&agr;. Namely, human topoisomerase 2&agr; inhibitors containing a human topoisomerase 2&agr;−binding factor having any of the following amino acid sequences: (a) the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1; and (b) an amino acid sequence derived from the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 by deletion, substitution and/or insertion of one to several amino acids and being capable of interacting human topoisomerase 2&agr; to thereby inhibit its activity.
