PURPOSE: A state transition structure of a matching device and an automatic connection method thereof are provided to make an automatic connection constitution between interactive links possible for an activation of links connected through a network interactively. CONSTITUTION: When an interactive initialization is tried on condition that a conventional connection is released, a transition is performed from an inactive state(S1) of a physical and logical connection to a state(S2) which verifies a link activation. If a side which tries the link activation requests a link up state, the opponent requests data with respect to an integer value capable of discriminating an interface path, a device identification number, and a time being set by an executed connection manager(S3). A response with respect to the above three objects is received, local copies of the objects are stored, and the link connection manager performs an automatic constitution and an address registration procedure continuously, and a physical link connection is completed(S4). If the connection is completed, a data synchronization is performed(S6) in an initialization state of interactive data(S5). If the connection is set, the link connection manager performs a pulling of a subscriber link manager each 'T' second for checking whether the connection is valid or not, and decides a maintenance or not of the connection by the response thereof(S7).
