One end of the immobiliser is attached to the handbrake lever (3). The other end is attached to the steering wheel (2) by a lock with a removable shackle (4). When the handbrake is applied the lock body is moved close to the steering wheel. The shackle is placed around part of the wheel into the lock and the steering wheel and handbrake lever are locked together preventing their movement. The body of the lock can be swivelled about a horizontal axis. When the lock is not in position and the handbrake is off a part of the immobiliser serves as a knee (12) support. |
