PURPOSE: A font upload system, method and computer readable record media is provided to upload a profile font, stored at a font box of a printer, to a computer or a file for an electronic publishing. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a file generation module reading font data from a conversion target file, for example, a Postscript file output to a printer(S110), the file generation module determining if a font corresponding to the read font data exists at a font folder(S120), in a case that the font does not exist at the font folder, a font search module searching for the read font in printers(S130), a font upload module designating a printer, having the read font, as a font upload target printer, the font upload module transmitting a font data upload instruction to the font upload target printer, a font extraction module of the printer extracting font data identical to a font name and font head data included in the instruction, the font extraction module transmitting the extracted font data to the computer, and the font upload module storing the transmitted font data at a temporary storage(S140), a font conversion module converting the stored font data into general font data(S150), a font storage module storing the converted font data at the font folder of the computer(S160), the file generation module generating a file for an electronic publishing by integrating the font file with a conversion target file and storing the generated file(S170), and in a case that the font does not exist at the font folder in the step S120, the file generation module executing the step S170.
