<p>A needle-less injector for liquids comprising a tensioning system, an energy storing spring, a hollow piston in a cylinder, and a nozzle, is new. A needle-less injector for liquids, consisting of a lockable tensioning system, an energy storing spring (36), a hollow piston (37) in a cylinder (38), and a nozzle (39). The piston has a valve body on one end, and the storage cylinder for the liquid is located in a housing section. The tensioning system is tensioned by counter-rotating the two housing sections (31,32), withdrawing the piston from the cylinder. The quantity of liquid required for injection is withdrawn from the storage container and transported through the hollow piston to the pump chamber. The liquid is injected when the tensioning system is released.</p> |
