PURPOSE: A signal transmission circuit tolerating an input signal above a power supply voltage is provided, which maintains a tolerant function by improving a DC characteristics and a delay characteristics and by improving a linearity in a used voltage region. CONSTITUTION: The first transmission circuit(T2) transmits a signal of the first node to the second node, and the second transmission circuit(T3) transmits the signal of the first node to the second node. An inversion circuit(17) inverts a signal of the second node. The first switching circuit(15) pulls-down the third node in response to an output signal of the inversion circuit. And the second switching circuit(T4) transmits the signal of the first node to the third node. The second transmission circuit is controlled in response to the signal of the third node.
