发明名称 Procédé de matage
摘要
Textile materials are matted by treating in a bath in which a urea-formaldehyde condensation product is caused to separate in finely divided colloidal state. The bath may be prepared by diluting with water a solution of the water-insoluble condensation product in a strong acid, e.g. formic acid. Coloured pigment-like condensation products may be employed, and by using dyes, condensation, dyeing and matting may proceed simultaneously or successively. Instead of urea, the following may be used: thiourea, dicyandiamide, biuret, guanylurea, guanidine, methyl-urea, phenyl-urea or the like, or mixtures thereof. Instead of formaldehyde, a polymeride thereof, or an agent yielding formaldehyde may be used. In examples: (1) urea formaldehyde is dissolved in aqueous solution, neutralized and heated for 6--8 hrs. at 100 DEG C., and the product dried, dissolved in formic acid, and the solution poured into water at 80 DEG C.; the solution is cooled to 35 DEG C. and viscose introduced and agitated for 30 mins., whereby it acquires a matt appearance fast to washing; (2) the condensation product of example (1) is mixed with 20 percent of its weight of thiourea and the mixture dissolved in its own weight of water; the solution is heated for 4 hrs. at 130 DEG C., the insoluble product so formed is ground and used in the form of a colloidal aqueous emulsion together with some aluminium sulphate; (3) dicyandiamide is dissolved in aqueous formaldehyde, the solution filtered and heated at 130 DEG C. for 4 hrs., the p insoluble product is pulverized and dissolved in formic acid, the solution is added to water at 35 DEG C. and Glauber's salt added; viscose goods treated in the bath for 30 mins. on a rotating reel acquire a matt appearance fast to washing; (4) the condensation product of example 1 and thiourea are dissolved in water at 60 DEG C. Orange II is added and condensation effected by adding 10 per cent HCl. After standing overnight the precipitate is filtered, washed, dried and heated for 1 hr. at 130 DEG C. The product is dissolved in formic acid to give a 25 per cent solution; to the solution is added water at 35 DEG C.; viscose silk is treated in the bath for /ba1/4/be hr., Glauber's salts added, and the silk treated a further /ba1/4/be hr. The product is an orange mat silk.
