PURPOSE: An accumulator of refrigerating cycle is provided to reduce noise generated due to boiling of liquefied refrigerant passing the accumulator. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator(60) includes a noise reducing member(70) reducing noise generated as liquefied refrigerant flowing therein is evaporated. The noise reducing member is annular porous metal pieces placed in a lower side of the accumulator and forming a plurality of air layers therein to absorb noise by friction or resistant vibration. The metal pieces are made of porous metal such as sintering metal alloy or hard chrome plating, or alternatively, sponge or expanded polystyrene.
