PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thick polypropylene film having excellent transparency, mechanical strength and heat sealability. SOLUTION: This method for film production comprises a process for melting and kneading a propylene polymer with a nucleating agent in the presence of an organic peroxide to produce a master batch, a process for mixing the master batch with a propylene/α-olefin random copolymer to produce a resin composition and a process forming the resin composition into a film by extrusion molding. An organic phosphoric ester is preferable as the nucleating agent and especially hydroxyaluminum-bis[2,2-methylene-bis(4,6-di-t-butyl)phosphate] or hydroxyaluminum-bis[2,2-ethylidene-bis(4,6-di-t-butyl)phosphate] is preferable. |
