PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease bringing frictional torque to lower levels even in high-speed rotation or rotation under high load, and to provide an inexpensive ball bearing using the grease and emitting slight noise of nonperiodical rotation even with low surface processing accuracy. SOLUTION: This grease essentially comprises a base oil such as mineral oil or synthetic oil and a thickening agent such as metallic soap or polyurea and also contains microspherical beads 0.05-1μm in average size at a concentration of 1,000-20,000/mm<3> . The other objective ball bearing using the grease is such that the roughness of the ball surface and the sliding surfaces of the inner ring and outer ring is set at <=1μm. |
