FIXING PART OF LEAF SPRING OF UPPER NOZZLE AND ITS FABRICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time for fabricating a square hole for installing a leaf spring and simplify installing and fixing of a leaf spring to upper nozzle. SOLUTION: In the fixing part A of the leaf spring at the upper part of a PWR nuclear fuel assembly, a groove of which the installation side of the leaf spring is open is machined to form a groove part 12 in the fixing part A by using a rotating tool at the prefabrication state. Then, a parallelepiped hole 7 having round deep corners is formed by also using the rotating tool.
