PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for vehicle capable of certainly releasing a lock even if any position of a door is pushed at the storage device provided with a push open type lock mechanism. SOLUTION: The push open type storage device 10 has a retainer 20, a door 30, a lock mechanism, a seal member 50 and a plate 60. The seal member 50 is supported to the door 30 side of the retainer 20 and the door 30 and has a seal part 51 contacted with a periphery edge part 21a of a storage part 21 of the retainer 20 when the door 30 is positioned at a closed position. The seal part 51 has a contact part 52 contacted with the periphery edge part 21a of the storage part 21 of the retainer 20 when the door 30 is positioned at the closed position; and a stroke absorbing part 53 deformed itself when the door 30 is pushed into a push-in position from the closed position. The plate 60 is arranged at the door 30 side displaceably against the door 30.
