PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorimetric device capable of measuring colors of a printed image more precisely than by the conventional colorimetric device. SOLUTION: A colorimetric device 20 comprises a camera 24 for photographing a printed image of a printed material, a display monitor 30, and a control device 28 for receiving the printed image from the camera 24 and producing the printed image on the display monitor 30. The control device 28 calculates the RGB-to-XYZ conversion matrix and the RGB-to-Lab conversion matrix, and determines the color differences between the Lab values in an inspection region and reference values. |
