PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new floor contact member for a movable partition wall and the movable partition wall equipped with the floor contact member, which allow a gap to be surely sealed without causing plastic deformation of a leaf spring. SOLUTION: The floor contact member (2) has an advance/retreat pin (21) which protrudes from a side end of a panel body (1), the leaf spring (22) which is deformed downward by making the pin (21) pressed into the panel body (1), and a floor contact body (23) which descends from inside the panel body (1) so as to come into contact with a floor surface by pressing the leaf spring (22) downward. The pin (21) is equipped with an elastic body (211) having a spring constant which is larger than an initial spring constant of the leaf spring (22) and smaller than the spring constant of the leaf spring (22) in the case where the contact body (23) is brought into contact with the floor surface.
