PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fluorine polymer powder which is used as a raw material in various forms such as pellet, sheet, other moldings, etc., has high density and excellent fluidity, is useful for a powder coating and can be obtained from recycled moldings using a fluorine polymer. SOLUTION: This method for production of fluorine polymer powder comprises a process by grinding a fluorine polymer-containing material in a specified temperature range. In the method production of for fluorine polymer powder, the specified temperature range is a temperature 100 deg.C lower than the melting start temperature or above of the fluorine polymer-containing material and the melting point or below of the fluorine polymer-containing material.
