PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition, excellent in weather resistance and a waterproof property, capable of reducing the amount of styrene, having a low viscosity, an excellent spraying property when using as gel coating and hardly occurring inferiorities such as lifting, etc. SOLUTION: This unsaturated polyester resin composition contains an unsaturated polyester and a polymerizable unsaturated compound. The unsaturated polyester (A) is obtained by using a monoalcohol as a raw material and a dibasic acid having cyclohexane ring and/or its anhydride, and also having <70 total the acid value and hydroxyl value.
