发明名称 METHOD FOR ZEOLITIZATION FROM VOLCANIC ASH AND GLASS, AND CONTINUOUS REACTION DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method wherein glass and minerals including volcanic ash, which are blended or kneaded with an alkaline solution and previously heated, are irradiated with an electromagnetic wave so that zeolitization of the volcanic ash is accelerated, and thus its cation exchange capacity (anion exchange capacity) and its adsorption capacity are improved, and to provide an electromagnetic-irradiation continuous-reaction device. SOLUTION: The minimum amount of an alkali required for a reaction is made to penetrate into the particulate solid of a raw material by blending/kneading the glass (including a natural glass mineral) and the minerals including volcanic ash with an alkaline solution. The alkaline solution penetrating into the solid is irradiated with an electromagnetic wave and instantaneously cause the zeolitization reaction from the inner part of the particle by heat generation of the inner part of the volcanic- ash-mixed particle. A zeolitization method with a small discharging amount of waste alkaline water can be realized by adjusting the amount of the alkali and controlling the discharge of waste alkali not relating to the reaction. When previously blending and adjusting vitreous particles (including a natural vitreous ingredient) with the raw material volcanic ash, a rapid zeolitization reaction (3-5 times faster than when not blending) can be made to occur by irradiation of the electromagnetic wave.
