PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card which is almost free from deformation by an embossing process as a base material for the card and contributes to the upgrading of disposal properties on account of its natural degradability even when the card is left alone after being discarded. SOLUTION: This card uses a sheet base material 1 obtained by adding 30 to 60 pts.wt. of a wood component to a biodegradable resin. The biodegradable resin to be used is an aliphatic polyester with a hydroxy alkanoate unit such as a 3-hydroxy barilate, a 3-hydroxy butyrate, a 3-hydroxy caprolate or a 3-hydroxy heptanoate. |
