PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting an inner face coating of a bottle formed of plastic which can easily and surely detect whether or not the brown transparent gas barrier coating provided to the inner face of the green transparent plastic bottle is good. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for inspecting the inner face coating which inspects the brown transparent gas barrier coating provided to the inner face of the green transparent plastic bottle W is provided with an illumination means 3 having a blue system LED as a light-emitting part 6, an imaging means 4 for imaging the bottle W illuminated through by the illumination means 3 and obtaining a color image, and a judgment means 5 for extracting a brown component from the color image imaged by the imaging means 4 and judging from the light and shade of the image whether the gas barrier coating is good or not.
