PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic measuring instrument for oxygen consumption speed capable of measuring the oxygen consumption speed of a seed efficiently with high accuracy and capable of freely treating the measured result. SOLUTION: In the instrument for automatically measuring the oxygen consumption speed of the seed by immersing the seed in a liquid to measure an amount of oxygen contained in the liquid, a measuring tank 10 for housing the seed to be measured, an oxygen supply means 4 for supplying oxygen to the measuring tank 10, oxygen measuring means 1 and 20 for measuring the amount of oxygen in the liquid in which the seed is immersed within the measuring tank 10 and a control part 1 for controlling the operation timing of the oxygen supply means 4 and the oxygen measuring means 1 and 20 are provided. |
