PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering device that can give a sense of high grade and is easily visible. SOLUTION: This metering device, namely, a combination meter 1 for vehicle is provided with a casing 3, speedometer 4a, a facing plate 10, and a bulb 15. The speedometer 1 is provided with a movement 7a housed in the casing 3, a pointer 12a attached to the output shaft 8a of the movement 7a, and a dial 6a for indicating car speeds. The dial 6a is provided with a metallic plate member. On the surface 20a of the plate member, numeric characters and scales are marked. The facing plate 10 is attached to the casing 3, and the bulb 15 is attached to the plate 10. The bulb 15 is positioned on the crew side of the dial 6a and illuminated the whole surface 20a of the plate member.
