PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground tunnel which can safely bifurcate or join vehicles from an underground main track tunnel and a ground road, and can solve troubles between the constructor and landowners of private lands etc. SOLUTION: According to the underground tunnel, an A-directed main track tunnel 1 extending in a predetermined direction, and a B-directed main track tunnel 2 extending in the opposite direction, are arranged on a right or a left side with respect to a vehicle traveling direction 13, and the A-directed and B-directed main track tunnels 1, 2 are three-dimensionally crossed to each other at a midpoint thereof, to thereby arrange the two main track tunnels in a laterally inverted manner. Further, connecting tunnels 3, 4, 5, 6 connected to a ground road 14 are set between the A-directed and B-directed main track tunnels 1, 2, and the connecting tunnels 3, 4, 5, 6, are connected to the A-directed or B- directed main track tunnel 1, 2.
