STRUCTURE FOR SETTING HANDRAIL OF TOILET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the looseness of a toilet attachment even if a handrail is not set to a toilet, to enable a reduction in cost and the number of component parts, and to reduce the variety of baseplate for a parts management or simple setting. SOLUTION: In a structure for setting a handrail 2 for the toilet at the side of a toilet bowl 1, a recessed portion 5 lower than a rim surface 4 is provided on the rim surface 4 at the rear portion 1a of the toilet bowl 1 on which a toilet attachment 3 is mounted. A handrail-fixing baseplate 6 for fixing the handrail 2 is detachably housed in the recessed portion 5. A protruded portion 7 for receiving the lower surface of an outer shell 3a of the toilet attachment 3 is raised on the inside of the recessed portion 5 and a through-hole 8 through which the protruded portion 7 is inserted in the thickness direction is bored in the baseplate 6.
