摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the amusement of a pattern change itself, i.e., the prediction of the pattern change, especially in the case of display presentation for deciding a probability change by increasing variations in the pattern change. SOLUTION: When the patterns of a first and second pattern display areas 10 and 12 temporarily stop in a ready-for-winning state and also a hit pattern temporarily stops in a third pattern display area 16, the change pattern of the patterns in the third pattern display area 16 is changed-over from a normal vertical reel into a matrix reel 20 to provide variations in the change. The game player can thus concentrate only on the change pattern without being deceived by a change direction since the change direction is predicted and displayed by an arrow 22 on the matrix reel 20. Furthermore, the final stop pattern can be predicted by viewing prediction display by the arrow 22 so that a feeling of expectation is given to the game player.</p>
