PURPOSE: A portable air conditioner is provided to be freely moved and installed and to prevent damage of a refrigerant pipe due to frequent movement. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit(100) having small and light structure suitable for movement and including a compressor(110) compressing gas refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure to convert into gas refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure, a condenser(120) converting the gas refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure into liquid refrigerant of middle temperature and high pressure with cooling action of a condensing fan(121) and an expansion valve(130) expanding the liquid refrigerant of middle temperature and high pressure to convert into liquid refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure; an indoor unit(200) having small and light structure suitable for movement and including an evaporator(210) in which the liquid refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure flowing in from the outdoor unit absorbs heat from surrounding air supplied by an evaporating fan(211) and evaporates to convert into gas refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure; a flexible refrigerant pipe(300) comprising a liquid refrigerant pipe(310) connecting the expansion valve and the evaporator, a gas refrigerant pipe(320) connecting the evaporator and the compressor and a drain tube(330) discharging condensed water generated in the evaporator; and a tube fixing device(400) fixing the refrigerant pipe to the outdoor unit and the indoor unit to protect.
