DETECTING METHOD OF NUMBER OF THICK PLATE OF MAGNET CRANE

PURPOSE: A total weight of thick plates lifted by a crane is measured, and compared with a desired value to control current flowing a magnet, thereby lifting desired number of thick plate. CONSTITUTION: A trolley(2) is connected to a crane by a wire rope. A magnet(3) is installed in lower side of the trolley to lift thick plate. An initial current value of a desired thick plate number is determined and outputted by a rectifier(30). The measured weight is received from load cells(10a,10b), and compared with the desired weight. The current value of the magnet is controlled by lowering or raising current value through the rectifier controlled by a computer.
