The cylinder core has a key channel (14) for inserting a key and bores for tumbler pins. The cylinder core is made from sleeves (1) and (2) which holds a core (3) with positive locking and which is fixedly connected to assembly bolts. The sleeves are made from hardened stainless steel and the core is preferably made from easily machinable material. One sleeve has a concave machined area (15) and the other a convex machined area (16) to allow accurate adjustment for fixedly fitting the core with the sleeves through assembly bolts.
