To simplify the configuration of a level shifter and to allow fast operation. [Solving Means] A level shifter 100 includes a capacitor 112, to a first end of which a low-amplitude logic signal is input; TFTs 132 and 134 for applying an offset voltage to a second end of the capacitor 112; a capacitor 114, to a first end of which the low-amplitude logic signal is input; TFTs 136 and 138 for applying an offset voltage to a second end of the capacitor 114; and TFTs 122 and 124 connected in series between a supply line of a power supply voltage for a high-amplitude logic signal and a supply line of a reference voltage therefor, a node therebetween serving as an output terminal. A threshold voltage of the TFT 122 is set to be not higher than the offset voltage applied by the TFTs 132 and 134, and an offset voltage of the TFT 124 is set to be higher than or equal to the offset voltage applied by the TFTs 136 and 138.
