Method for online transformation of mass data

The method involves using the existing redundancy of the system. Operation continues on one of the redundant systems (A1) without restrictions, while the new software version is installed on a second redundant system (A2). Via a communication channel, the data are requested, transformed, and/or supplemented and stored in system A2. Changes to the database of the first system (A1) are recorded in a file. After successful data transfer and transformation, operation is switched to system A2. Redundancy is restored by separating the systems and copying system A2 to system A1.
