The subject invention relates to a pink light-emitting device with high brightness, which comprises a light-emitting diode as a luminescent element and a fluorescent body containing yttrium aluminum garnet fluorescent powders with formula of (Y3-x-yCexZy)Al5O12 or (Y3CexZy)Al5O12, wherein said light-emitting element emits a purple to blue light with a wavelength ranging from 400 nm to 450 nm, 0<x<=0.8, 0.5<y<=2.5, and Z is selected from a group consisting of rare earth metals other than cerium (Ce).
