PURPOSE: A bumper of a vehicle is provided to protect a passenger by sufficiently absorbing the shock energy when an inclined collision occurs around a bumper cover and to relieve the financial burden on a customer by preventing the damage on the bumper in a low-speed collision. CONSTITUTION: A bumper of a vehicle comprises a side member(10), a bumper cover(20), and a shock absorbing unit(100). The side member is installed on each left and right side of a vehicle body. The bumper cover is placed in front of the side member. A shock absorber(21) for absorbing a shock is interposed in the bumper cover. The shock absorbing unit interposed between the side member and the bumper cover absorbs the shock with the distortional energy when the shock is inclined upward or downward. The shock absorbing unit comprises a stay(110), a flange(120), a rotating bar(130), and a beam(140).
